All AUSANGATE TOURS tours are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances, including, Ausangate Tours reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to river, road, weather conditions, or political climate. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip due to client unsuitability because of age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication etc.
Any missed tours due to the above listed incidences (eg. weather conditions or political climate) cannot be refunded or recuperated.
The price and duration of a hiking trip will never change once you’re registered. Payments are not refundable for itinerary changes or public land closures. If a trip is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control a trip credit equal to the full amount paid will be issued.
If you wish to modify the date of departure/ or route of your trek after making the reservation/deposit, have not additional charges whenever this is done 10 days in advance, except for the excursions on the Inca Trail.
The AUSANGATE TOURS reserves the right to cancel trips. If this is the case a full refund of the amount paid will be given, including the deposit. The AUSANGATE TOURS Company is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by preparing for the trip (for example: non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, clothing, equipment, visa fees, medical expenses, etc.).
The Cancellation request must be via email by the person who made the reservation and paid the deposit to info@ausangatetours.com
Permits for the Inca Trail are processed with the name and passport number, in no case may they be transferable to other person. The change of dates is also not possible once the permit has been acquired. Those are not refundable or transferable. Please note that is Peruvian government regulations and no0t Ausangate Tours.
In the extreme case that the Inca Trail is declared closed for security reasons or causes, it to escape our responsibility. Ausangate Tours will replace your excursion with alternative route.
If you book the Inca Trail trek with a Student Card, during the walk you must to carried along with the passport. The personnel of Ministerio De Cultura will prohibit entrance if the studend car is not show. That situation will escape of our responsibilities.
For your protection, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. Travel insurance provides you with trip cancellation or interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, baggage and baggage delay coverage to protect your financial investment. Medical coverage purchased with your policy will also satisfy our requirement for health insurance.
The client accepts and grants Vidal Expeditions the right to use images, photos, videos during the participation in any of our tours for any type of advertising, at not cost.
